Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.6
Operating System: win 8 pro 64 bit

I'm trying to find a simple way (one click) way to refresh an existing histogram plot after I import a new column of data in the existing column in the corresponding worksheet.

Your team promised that this problem will be solved in the current version !!!

Hi Dr. Walid Tawfik,

That post was very old. I tried in 8.6. After I change data in worksheet. I can go back to Histogram and press Ctrl+R or click Rescale to show all button) to update the graph fine. Does it fail for you?

I did see some histogram update problems being fixed over time. Such as:
ORG-9163 Auto update issues in histogram graph -- fixed in 9.1
ORG-3887 Bin Worksheet failed to update for histogram in group -- fixed in 8.6

If it still fails for you, could you send your opj to tech@originlab.com and steps to see the problem and also mention this post so we could see what may be causing it?

Thanks, Snow Li

Hi Dr Walid Tawfik,

Have you tried in our latest Origin 9.1?

After importing new data, you can use Ctrl+R or Rescale to show all button to update the graph.

Or if you mean something else, let me know. Sorry that I couldn't find your record in our database so couldn't find what the original problem is.

Sincerely, Snow
