I have drawn seven line and scatter graphs separately, from different workbooks (as I had to create multi-y plots and merge graphs to create these seven). I want to display these graphs stacked on top of each other vertically, with the same x axis (scale already consistent between them). There doesn't seem to be a simple way to do this, without plotting them all from the same workbook, or using image editing software to stack them? Merging them vertically doesn't work/looks messy.
Can anybody help me?

Hello,
With one graph window active, you can
1. choose Graph: Merge Graph Windows. In Arrange Settings node, set Number of Rows to be 7 and Number of Columns to be 1.
Also check "Link Source Graphs" checkbox.
And you can set Vertical Gaps to be 0 so there are no vertical gaps between each stack.
2. Click OK to merge them into a stacked plot.
3. You can then double click a plot to open Plot Details dialog.
When Layer 2, Layer 3, ... selected respectively, go to Linked Axes Scales tab to set X Axis Link to be Straight (1 to 1).
Or you can directly plot stacked plot in Origin by the following steps:
1. choose Plot: Multi-Curve: Stack... to open the dialog.
2. Click the > button next to Input and choose Select Columns.
Choose List Datsets in Current Folder so you can see all workbooks in the folder.
3. Click OK
--> A stacked plot will be created with X shared.
4. You can click to select a plot and click scatter button on 2D Graphs toolbar to change it into a scatter plot.
