Hi there!
I am currently working with some data, which are big in general. Sometimes it exceeds 600 s * 10k of samples. I am working parallel with few of those signals in one project. In the past I was processing similar data, maybe a just smaller (200 - 300 seconds) and everything was working perfectly.
Unfortunately now, Origin has tendency to not responding. When I'm processing those data (in general just plotting them or simple FFT) it takes from several minutes or its crashes.
When I'm clicking on the Origin window(when its processing) it becomes grey and result in information that 'Program is not responding'. I have checked memory usage and it looks that it drains only 3,5 GB from my 8 GB.
Does anyone has similar problems or know how to solve it? I would really appreciate any help.

Posted - 04/25/2014 : 7:14:45 PM I am having the very same problem.
I tried with smaller file sizes and the problem proceeds.
Very interested if anyone has had this problem and if they solved it what they did to fix it.

Posted - 03/31/2014 : 06:21:38 AM Hi Aleksandra,
I am afraid we are not sure what leads this problem by your description without your files.
Would you mind to send us the file (.opj) worked well and the file leading crash to us, then we could try to figure out what went wrong? Do you perform the same processing on both two files? And would you tell us the detail steps and setting?
For the large files, please upload to the OriginLab FTP site and then send us an email <tech@originlab.com> with the files name. Please refer to this page with detail step about sending a File to OriginLab Technical Support: http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Support&pid=752
Additionally, please send us your Serial Number information in the email. You can check it by selecting "Help: About Origin" in the Origin main menu.
Thanks
Jacqueline OriginLab
