For Origin Pro 9.0,
How to set the size of the grid lines?
I know how to set the size of the frame or the Figure.
But there is a problem, see the picture below,

when the number is on the edge of the axis Y, the grid line is actually shorter than that the number is not on the edge.
When you see a picture, what you noticed is the grid lines, so when you have two pictures together, it seems they are not in the same size.
how can I solve this problem?

I think you are talking about the major and minor Y axis ticks.

If you double click the Y axis on the left graph. You should see the scale tab of Axis dialog.
It looks the scale is from -1 to 10. Major tick increment is set to 3. minor tick is set to by count =1. Origin found some round number to start with so major tick shows at 0, 3, 6, 9. Since no minor tick will fall in the edge, no minor tick shows.

If u want some major ticks to show at two edges. You can go to Custom Tick Labels tab of Axis dialog. Set At Axis Begin and End to Manual.

Also in 9.1, we added more customization in axis, including major/minor tick length controls, multiple special ticks, which can help solve the problem.

Thanks, Snow
