I fitted measurement values with a non linear function using 4 free parameters with the NLFIT Method. Can anyone tell me the calculation procedure of the correlation matrix within the NLFIT analysis? Which correlation method is normally used (Pearson, Kendall, Spearman)? To my knowledge the Pearson Method is only valid for linear function. Does a possibility exist to change the automatic calculation procedure of the correlation matrix?
Thank you!

thanks for the answer and the link. But a documentation about the calculation of the correlation matrix for nonlinear fittings is missing.
