Hello dear friends,
I need to differentiate a TG curve to its DTG but after the differentiation the resultant curve became no smooth and there are up and down lines like the attached one. My Origin Version is 9.1
How can I differentiate it to a smooth line?
Thanks in advance

Hi Mohamed1986,

First go to “Analysis:Mathematics:Differentiate:Open Dialog” to bring up the “Mathematics:differentiate” dialog box, then you can expand “Smooth” node and check “Savitzky-Golay Smooth” and check “Plot Derivative Curve” to see the differentiated smooth plot.

Sean
