Hello,

quite a lot of time has passed since the following problem was posted:

I'm having the similar troubles ("unwanted interpolations over missing value cells") and was wondering if there is a solution available?

Thanks!

Hi Snow,

thanks for your help. I'll prepare a file with the data and send it.

Kind regards

Hi Matthias,

Sorry for replying late. Thank you for bringing this up again. I have created https://originlab.jira.com/browse/ORG-11136 to improve this further.

Is it OK that you sent the data to tech@originlab.com?

Here is what you can do now for now.

1. Highlight XYZ columns and choose Worksheet: Reduce Rows... menu to remove rows with missing values first.
2. Then plot B&W contour.
--> Then no interpolation will be done around those missing values. But right now there is no way to hide data boundary yet.

Sincerely, Snow
