Hello there,

Please I am a new user of origin software and I am just wondering whether it is possible to plot a stepwise curve, such as the one below,in Origin 8. Thank you in advance for contributing.

Hi Jaco,

Would you please show us more detail info for this kind of the curve?

Thanks
Jacqueline

Thanks, Jacqueline for getting back to me. It sounds good to know that origin supports horizontal and vertical steps but I am still wondering whether the stepwise curves (pls see graph) is possible at all?

Hi Jacobian,

Origin supports to create the Horizontal Step or Vertical Step for the Line plot.

Highlight the XY dataset, choose Plot: Line: Horizontal Step / Vertical Step in the main menu.

Thanks
Jacqueline
