Operating System: Windows 7 (64 bits)

Hi,

Here is what I am doing: I created a pivot table from access data. I had already plotted some graphs and saved the project. When I added new data in access and reimported the data into Origin, all my graphs were plotted with the wrong data, because all data displaced one column to the right, because the pivot is alphabetically ordering. I want to know if there is a way to plot my graphs and when the column move, the graph continue to plot the same data.

Thanks!

Hi,

When you do re-import, actually all your data is replaced by new ones, not just moved.

One way is to use script to import, that is, import new file to a temp workbook, insert a new column at the beginning of your working book and copy the first column from temp book into it.

If you need our help about this, please email us some sample files so we can working on it.
