Origin 8.5 sr1
Windows

Once I have imported an ASCII file into a worksheet (i get two columns, A and B). I right-click on the top of column B, select PLOT/Line/Line and nothing appears or is created. However, until now I always used to get a Graph Window opened with the correct plot. Otherwise, it does work if I wirte the right command in the script window.

What could be the problem?

Thank you,
Natalia

Hi,

It could be possible that some error occurs in your Origin installation, so maybe you could try to "Repair" your installation first:

1. Go to the Programming Folder of your Origin installation(where your Origin is installed)
2. Look for the OriginPro 8.5 Add or Remove Files shortcut, double click to launch the Origin Setup wizard.
3. Choose "Repair" as your goal and follow the instructions to repair.

If your problem persists after this, please let us know what LabTalk command you used to generate the plot, also does the similar problem also exists with other plot types like scatter, column/bar .etc?
