I recently had to reinstall Origin 6.1 after my PC became upgraded from Win98 to XP. Now I have no greek characters, i.e. when I enter \g(m) into a label panel, it makes an "m" on the screen rather than a mu.

Is this because of an incompatibility with XP or did my reinstall fail?

Thanks,

RL

As Lorraine wrote, it is unfortunate...

Anyway, did you try to specify the font instead of setting as a Greek? though my computer is Win2K, and cannot verify:

\f:Symbol(m)

Origin 6.1 was not developed/tested for the Windows XP platform. Problems may occur with this combination of software. Origin 7 however is compatible and has been tested extensively on Windows XP.
