Does anyone know whether it is possible in Originlab to plot 2D plot through a line function from a 3D plot (e.g. projection mode) as shown in the attached image?

Look at the right-bottom 2D plot which is generated from 3D projection plot.

Please help. Thanks

Hi,

We you suggest you can try to use Contour Profile.

These two graphs use the same dataset to create. (Data from: <Origin EXE Folder>\Samples\2D and Contour Graphs.opj.)

Right image is a Polar Contour, and the left one is Contour Profile.
To create Contour Profile graph, you can activate a matrix or XYZ dataset, choose Plot: Contour: Contour Profiles from the menu.

Thanks
Jacqueline
