Hi ya'll,

I had a quick question about layering plots. I want to take a 2D contour plot, with information on the xyz planes, and layer the xy data on top of it (its only about 32 data points). I can't for the life of me figure out how. Also, I was hoping to label those xy points on the plot, and I don't know how to do so.

I know this sounds like a pain, but if someone could help I'd really appreciate it. I've only been using the software for a little bit (and I love it so far) so I'm still a beginner.

Hi,

So the basic steps are like the following (9.1 Origin based):
1). Plot the contour as usual
2). Use Layer Contents window to add col(B) as scatter to the graph
3). Open plot Details dialog, go to the scatter plot node in left panel, Label tab and enable the labels.
4). Some further customization

For more details, can you send an email to <tech@originlab.com> so I can give you a sample opj.
