I have tried using origin v.6 on a new Dell 1.8 GHz P4 computer running xp pro and have noticed that it takes a long time to launch unless I turn off the printspooler. I downloaded evaluation copy of v.7 but had the same result. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Paul,

I'm running Origin 7.0 (registered) under XP pro and haven't had that problem. It doesn't seem to matter whether print spooling for my printer (HP DJ 932 on USB) is on or off. I haven't tried O6 or the O7 demo in xp, so they might behave differently.
