I want to plot 3 y columns that share the same x with x error. But only the first Y column has the x error bars, the others have no x error. Why don't the second and third columns have x-error? I select the x, x-Er, and corresponding 3 Y columns, and hit scatter plot.

Posted - 11/07/2014 : 03:50:56 AM The X-Er dataset in your case is considered to be associated with the first XY dataset, so when you plot in this way, it will not be auto recognized as the error data for the 2nd and 3rd dataset.
You may use the following steps to create the plot you want:
1. Without selecting any worksheet data, select Plot:Symbol:XY Error and this should open the Plot Setup dialog. 2. In the Plot Setup dialog, add data ranges X X-Er Y1, X X-Er Y2, X X-Er Y3 one by one. They will be added as individual plots
