Posted - 08/09/2002 : 08:02:12 AM I have a problem with a 3d graph. I use a script to include a dataset into the 3d graph (GetNamedWin 3d, layer -include %H_C). The script fires off upon import.
the problem is that I get droplines that are parallel to the z-axis (hence not vertical or horizontal, so I can't touch them with LabTalk) and whenever I change the properties of the plot (I remove the droplines and desrease the symbol size) and save the template, it doesn't help. When I open the template again I have the same problem. This is probably because the plot profile is individual for the plot and not fro the whole layer.
Is there anything I can do?
OH, and another thing. When using multiple import, why can't you decide yourself which template to import your data into. The only option is the Origin-template, and I don't want to have to remake that one each time I want to import some different data.
  Thank you

Posted - 08/12/2002 : 02:52:20 AM Yep, I realised this right after I posted this message. Anyway, I am using Origin 6.0 and the problem with the graph still stands. Thank you.

Starting with Origin 6.0 the default template for multiple-file imports can be changed on the Miscellaneous tab of the Tools | Options dialog and the Multiple import dialog itself has a column for specifying the template for each file.
