i don't recall changing any settings but now none of the built in functions or user defined functions show up. They are all disabled. I cannot choose a category or the function and all I can do is to chose a new function. Iteration algorithm is also diabled. Please help me with that. My project really depends on all those fits.

Thanks

Could you choose Tools: Options menu. Go to System Path tab to let us know where your User Files Folder is.

Could you close Origin. go to that User files folder in Windows Explorer. Rename the UFF.
Then launch Origin again and specify a new User Files folder (try to specify the UFF to some writable location on local PC.

Check if the problem still exists?

Thanks, Snow

We tried that and it didn't work. We even tried removing and re-installling the software but it didn't help. Please help us.
Thanks

Perhaps you could try to repair your installation, following the steps below:

1.Close Origin(Pro) if it is open.
2. Click the Windows Start button and select Programs | OriginLab | Origin(Pro) 9.1 | Origin(Pro) 9.1 Add or Remove Files. This starts the InstallShield wizard.
3. Select Repair/Upgrade as goal and follow the instructions to repair.
4. Restart Origin and see if the problem is solved.

Here's a screen shot of the non-linear curve fit screen.
