Hallo, Origin Team! Is there any way to disable the annoying popup preview images in the Project Explorer? For example by the change of the System Variables? |

http://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/sys-var-list#P.2CQ
and look for @PESH, which when set to 0 will completely disable comment tooltip from any book.

Posted - 10/22/2015 : 12:57:52 PM Dear Cpyang, did you already introduced a new variable for disabling popups in SR2? |

Posted - 01/24/2015 : 12:03:03 PM It seems that @PESS=-1 will disable only graph previews.
We need to introduce a different system variable for book comments, it seems, in the upcoming SR2.

Posted - 01/24/2015 : 08:50:55 AM Hello, Snowli! Thank you for your answer. I don't like preview images, because I know from the long name of the worksheet or image, what is inside. And the popup pictures are annoying, if I forget to delete comments (which I never use too) while importing a bunch of data. Here is one example:

Posted - 01/13/2015 : 10:09:11 AM Hello,
Do you mind letting us know the case why you don't lik the preview images?
Yes, we have system variables to turn the feature off. https://originlab.jira.com/wiki/x/0gCOAg
To disable this feature, set system variable @PESS to -1: @PESS=-1 You can also choose Tools: System Varaibles. Enter PESS as variable name. Enter -1 as value and click OK. This will turn the feature off for all future Origin sessions.
Thanks, Snow |
