Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Origin Pro 2015 SR1 (32 bit), b9.2.257 (Student version)
Operating System: Windows XP SP2

I just installed Origin Pro 2015 and immediately encoutered this bug:

Upon opening a project I was working on Origin Pro 9.1, all my windows except the first graph to be shown bear a "Lock" icon (see also the Project explorer on the left).

Since this is a critical issue, I would very much appreciate your help.

Best regards,

François

Hi,
Is there a way to lock unused sheets/graphs and unlock others?

Best regards,

Jonas

Hi,

A handy way to divide a large project into small ones, you can right-click on a folder icon in the Project Explorer, and choose "Save as Project" shortcut.

Hope this helps.

This is a license problem, and it begins with new purchased 9.1 SR1 student version.

Besides, we also provides 1-year expiring license without window limitation:
https://store.originlab.com/store/Default.aspx?CategoryID=52

If you do not have this window number limit with the same license in 9.1, please contact OriginLab or your distributor.

That may be an option for certain projects, but not in every cases.

Another option is to break the one large project up into a number of smaller projects if that is feasible.

Solution: Upgrade Origin.

Thank you for the heads up. Is this new with 9.2? I was working with this project file on a 9.1 Student installation and never had this problem. I guess I will keep on using the 9.1 version...
