I have two sets of data of different x and y values which are depicted as shown in the attached image.
Is it possible to get the data as corresponding y values (y1 and y2) for each certain value of x ?
The idea here is to get both y1 and y2 values for each value of x. Thanks much

Posted - 01/26/2015 : 10:36:17 AM Everytime you move the cursor to a new location, you can press hotkey O to output results.
Or if you have a set of X values in column D, you can use Set column values to do the interpolation.
e.g. suppose your original data are in column A(X), B(Y), C(Y). Add column D, E, F. Enter x values in cells of column D. For column E, enter the following formula in F(X) cell col(B)(col(D)) For column F, enter the following formular in F(X) cell col(C)(col(D))
In Origin 2015, we added interp labtalk function which can do interpolation with more options, such as spline in Set Column Values dialog.
Thanks, Snow |

Can I get the data automatically rather the manual recording of it through the output icon because it will consume much time?
Thanks much |

Posted - 01/26/2015 : 12:19:58 AM Hi Mohamed,
With the graph window active, select Gadgets menu - Verticl Cursor.
It will add a vertical line onto the graph, which can tag the y values of certain x for each plot.
See more references on: http://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Gadget-VerticalCursor
Is it what you want? |
