hi,

I want to plot two y axis plot with common x axis. How to link both the y axis and represent them by a single point. I tried linking one to one procedure but could not make it. Here is the data

x xerr1 xerr2 y1 y2

2.9 0.35 0.89 2 18
1.6 0.5 0.5 2.3 20
1.5 0.52 0.52 2.2 19
1.4 0.51 0.51 2.7 30
1.6 0.59 0.59 2.9 27
3.5 0.08 0.16 3.1 38

Kindly suggest me how to plot this.

Thank you

In Plot Details dialog, Symbol tab, you can check Show Construction and choose a column to index the symbol shape/interior.
The index number is based on those two drag-down list as well, for example, 0=No Symbol, 1=Square, ...; 1=Solid, 2=Open, ...

hi,

I need to plot each row x, y1 and y2 to be represented by one symbol. Help me to link the y axis so that i can have common point for both the y axis.

For e.g.,
first row x1 y1 y2 2 1.9 23 represent by triangle

second row x2 y1 y2 2.9 2 18 represent by square

etc

thank you

thank you

Hi,

Not sure if this is what you are looking for:

Re-arrange your data as X-Y1-YErr1-Y2-YErr2, highlight all and call the double Y template, then open Plot Details dialog to change the YErr to XErr.
