Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):`OriginPro 9.1.0 Sr3 b275
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Hello, Origin Team!
Since I have both origin 9.1.0 and 2015 on my PC the "old" 9.1.0 version of the OriginPro needs 43 seconds to start with the blank file. For 2015 this start-up time is essentially lower (10 to 15 seconds). I am still using preferably 9.1.0 version. Is there a way to become back "a fast start-up" for 9.1.0 version, while keeping the new 2015 ? |

Hello,
I cannot reproduce your problem in my computer.and the problem could be caused by the computer Configuration as well, such as disk space.
In fact, the Origin 2015 has a faster starter time, but I thinks it is less likely to cause Origin 91 slower.

Dear Jason, i would like to use the previous 9.1 version because of annoying popup images.
Here I have an example of those popup windows from the book comments:

And with change of the system variable PESS i was able to turn off
popup images only for graphs.
Do you have any idea why the launch time for 9.1 becomes so long (even for blank file)
when both versions, 9,1, and 2015 are installed simultaneously? When I had only 9.1
the launch time was fine.

Hello,
Origin 2015 made improvements in addition to supporting all features in Origin 9.1.
Usually we suggest users use our latest version instead of improving old version. Would you mind telling us why you prefer using Origin 9.1?
