Posted - 03/17/2015 : 4:21:07 PM Hi,
If you are installing Origin or OriginPro 9 and have larger than a 2TB hard drive this was a problem in SR0 and SR1. You would need the updated installer for Origin 9 SR2 which can be downloaded from here: http://www.originlab.com//restricted/file_download.aspx?site=PRVCDN&file=Origin90Setup.exe
Alternatively, if you have a higher version of Origin available to you, I would recommend installing a later version.

Posted - 03/17/2015 : 4:11:38 PM Could you comment which Origin version you are trying to install?
You said it's basically windows 8 supported, do you mean you can install it but at the end, got some message? If you launch Origin, can Origin run fine?
Could you send a screen shot of the error?
Thanks, Snow
