Hey JoseMGuil-
The digitizer feature was originally added as a downloadable extension in Origin 9.1 and has been a core feature in the software only since Origin 2015. Unfortunately it does not work with Origin 8.0. but if you'd still like to use this feature, I'd recommend going to the main OriginLab site and downloading the evaluation version of our latest release, Origin 2016.

Please, let me ask my question in this topic.
I have/want to digitize images (pdf, jpg, ...) with Origin: (Origin 8.0.63.988 SR6 v8.0988) but I cannot find that possibility in any menu nor any file related to that matter in the Origin directory.
Any idea of what have happened?

Hello,
We have Digitizer in Origin, which supports digitize data from image or clipboard.
So in opened pdf, you can choose Edit: Copy File to Clipboard
Then in Origin, choose Tools: Digitizer...
Click the second button on the toolbar to get image from clipboard.
Set axis scale and digitize.
In recent versions, we added auto tracing in Digitizer.
