Hi, I would like a special feature in Origin - and actually I'm not sure if something like I imagine is already implemented. Wenn I have two spectra, eg line plots in one graph, I would love to just grab one of the spectra and to a Y-stretching so that i can compare the data better. Is there a feature (other than normalize) to to this? If there is not something like this, does somebody have a good idea how to do this with labtalk? My idea would be: 1. Move second graph to new layer 2. Edit Scaling of each layer But this would not be possible with just grabbing the line plot :-/ Would there be a better way (eg. slider control or something like this)?

Posted - 04/14/2015 : 12:13:26 PM We support stack plots with y offset in one layer and you can drag one line to move it up or down so you can put multiple curves together to compare them. See this video. http://www.originlab.com/Index.aspx?go=Support/VideoTutorials&pid=2135
Also we support zoom/panning of a layer. Z is the hotkey for it. Press Shift+Z to scoll your mouse on graph will restrict zooming or panning in Y direction.
Thanks, Snow OriginLab Corp. |
