Posted - 05/20/2015 : 7:35:05 PM Hi, I want to eliminate pixelation in my graphs. For example, plotting a line. I can't find an export .svg in Origin 8.5. My current options: 1. Copy the page to Powerpoint, save as image from powerpoint. This looks very pixelated on the line, but the Tick marks are clear. 2. Export a picture from Origin, then shrink the image size in the program (MS office). The line looks less pixelated, but more fuzzy, but then the tick marks are also fuzzy.
Is there a work around, or a way to export vector graphics without pixelation? Attatched are two reference images, for methods 1 and 2. Thanks for your time.

Posted - 05/21/2015 : 4:09:13 PM Upgrading origin is not a helpful suggestion.
For anyone else with this issue, I found exporting an .EPS file and opening it in Photoshop allowed me to save it as an image with anti-aliasing. This might also work with Inkscape (Free). However, blurring of the tick marks still occurs. The main issue is that MS Office has poor rendering of EPS files. |

Posted - 05/21/2015 : 04:56:15 AM Hi,
In our latest version Origin 2015, it supports Anti-aliasing feature. I thinks it could help to reduce pixelation.
Please refer to the compared graphs pasted in Powerpoint. You would find the line become smooth when it is enable Anti-aliasing.
I would recommend upgrading to our latest version Origin 2015. Also, you can download and try to use the Origin 2015 Evaluation from the following page: http://www.originlab.com/demodownload.aspx
