Hi,
I am trying to export a plot created by origin into graphics software such as inkscape or CorelDraw for further modification. opening the plot with power point and then copying the picuter does not allow its modification on these programs. any suggestion how do I change the path of the plot to make an svg imalge for example?

I don't think it "export" by opening the plot with PowerPoint. You should choose the menu File->Export Graphs, and export as PDF. I don't have CorelDraw. I'm pretty sure inscape 0.91 can open the PDF and save as SVG.
