Hallo everybody,
i have to fit an exponential decay on an carr-parcell curve. My porblem is that i not sure how to fit only on the maxima of the curve. I dont know how to weight the fit to these peaks, maybe you can help me.

best regards
Matteo

Hi Matteo,
Utilizing the envelope curve (http://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Envelope) may be an alternative approach,
though this is only available in Pro version.

As this involves the smoothing, in some case, it might give more robust result, if the data is noisy.

Hello,

You can use the peak analyzer to find the peaks first, the peaks position/intensity will be output as table, then you can perform the fit.
