I would like to send my origin files to other people who may not have origin.
How can they view worksheets and graphs? |

Thank you very much for your help.
HTML Genie really does the job I wanted with only one mouse click. You don't need to have a web page, it also works from harddisk.

This might be your another possibility (assuming your friends have Excel or OpenOffice Calc):
1) Make your data which you anticipate to share with your friends as an Excel workbook INSIDE Origin (or, copy your worksheet data into a new Excel workbook in Origin).
2) Copy and paste your graph in the workbook in Origin, then save-as an external XLS file.
3) Save your project, and send the XLS file to your friends.
You can still grip the integrity of your data and the graphs given to your friends more tighly than exporting data/graphs because all your stuff is still in your project.
Note: The pasted graph is an OLE object, so you can still change the attributes such as plot symbols, etc. thru Origin.

There are a number of ways you can let other people view your worksheets/graphs. Those that pop to mind immediately are...
1> The layout page is a convenient way to combine and annotate multiple graphs and/or worksheets. Create the layout and export it as image.
2> Export images of each window and add them to a Word (or equivalent) document with explanations, etc.
3> If you have a web page you can use Craig Storey's HTML Genie to convert an entire project to HTML. You can download the Genie from OriginLab's Add-On Modules page.
There are lots of variations, but they all involve creating images of your Origin windows. If you want to share the actual data you can export a worksheet to an ASCII file. (They will get the numbers only.)
Is that the type of solution you're looking for?
