I am an user of Origin 7. I would like to know what is the limit for the number of X columns in the same worksheet. Because I work with a worksheet that contains 2048 columns and I wrote a script to convert 1024 columns in X columns (wks.multix=1; and wks.col$(t).type=4; where t is the indice) but only 500 columns are become an X column.
Did I make mistakes or not ?
Thanks fot your answer.

As I recall the release version of Origin 7 had some problems with wks.col$(t) properties when t was greater than 1000. Assuming that your X and Y columns come in pairs, that would explain why you only get 500 X columns. I think that problem was fixed in either SR1 or SR2.
Select Help...About Origin. If it doesn't say
Origin 7 SR2
at the top then update Origin and try again. The easiest way to do that is with the Check for Updates command on the Help menu.
Hope that helps.
