Hi All,

The tutorial for Grouped columns with error bars and data labels helped me a lot. I could plot the graph easily, but what I am looking for is I can't really change the pattern for each column. That is, I need different patterns for different columns. Could you please suggest how to do it ?

Hi,

You can first try the Increment Pattern option in the Pattern tab of Plot Details dialog.

If you want to set the pattern for each column, you can try the way below:
Select the whole column plot by clicking on one column, then click again to select this column. Then, use the Pattern drop-down list to change the pattern for selected column. To change the pattern for multiple columns simultaneously, you can press Ctrl key to select the columns one by one, and then using the Pattern drop-down list in the Format toolbar to change the pattern.

In upcoming Origin 2016, you can set the pattern to Increment and indexing ( just like the Fill Color settings).
