Hi, I just have learned a lot from Craig Storey's website .
http://www.genevalake.ca/origin/originlabtalk.html

However, there is one section named
File Utility Method
and some scripts were showed such as:

file.Lread(Q, hf1);

From the words, I can guess that means line reading from a file,
but where can I get the detail explain of all the methods with this
"file" object?
I tried the Help command, but only one file copy command can be found.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The File Utility Module is an OriginPro feature that provides script access to handling file i/o. It is documented in the OriginPro (printed) manual.

If you have Origin or OriginPro version 7, you could instead use Origin C to perform file access using the file and stdiofile classes.
