Posted - 01/13/2003 : 05:52:54 AM Hi, I just have learned a lot from Craig Storey's website . http://www.genevalake.ca/origin/originlabtalk.html
However, there is one section named File Utility Method and some scripts were showed such as:
file.Lread(Q, hf1);
From the words, I can guess that means line reading from a file, but where can I get the detail explain of all the methods with this "file" object? I tried the Help command, but only one file copy command can be found.
Thanks in advance!

Posted - 01/13/2003 : 09:21:12 AM Hi,
The File Utility Module is an OriginPro feature that provides script access to handling file i/o. It is documented in the OriginPro (printed) manual.
If you have Origin or OriginPro version 7, you could instead use Origin C to perform file access using the file and stdiofile classes.
