Before you tried dragging and dropping these apps for a second time, did you uninstall them first?

One thing you might want to try is go to Tools>Package Manager and then within that dialog box open Tools>Uninstall a Package to remove the packages for these apps. Once this is done, close out of Origin, open it back up again and try dragging and dropping your apps a second time.

If this still doesn't work, could you send us your copy of the OPX files to Tech AT originlab.com? We can't seem to duplicate the problem on our end.

If this isn't being run in administrator and there's an error message coming up related to the package, perhaps it is the app itself. Do you mind telling us which app you're trying to install?

Hello,

One of the possible reasons is that you have run Origin as Administrator.
Please try to double click to open the Origin directly without 'Run as Admin', then drag and drop to install the apps again.

Best regards!
