Dear all,

My problem might be "pretty Standard", but I simply can't find a solution for it:

I have imported data by hand and ended up with columns that contain voltages and "V AC".

How could I convert this into voltages only?

"230,00 V AC" --> "230,00"

Thank you very much!
cgr

p.s. Might be possible to solve this by the importing ASCII function, but in my case it would mean a lot of extrawork to import the data again.

Just choose Edit: Replace.

In Find and Replace dialog,
On Replace tab, check Data Type: String
Find what "v ac" ---- no need to have quote
Leave Replace with blank.

Click Replace to check if this works.

Thanks, Snow Li
