I would like to graph the histogram with a binomial curve of probability=0.5
The attached figure shows the preview of what I want. However, when I click apply, the program calculates the binomial based on my data which is skewed and has a probability of less than 0.5

Hi Sarah-
The reason this keeps happening is because when you fit a point based on a binomial function using the plot details dialog, it is simply fitting such a function to your data, rather than plotting a normal binomial function with a probability area of 0.5.

To do this, what you'll need to do is use the Labtalk command (http://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/Binomialpdf-func) for plotting binomial functions, pointing Origin to your x column, the size of your sample (nt), and setting p = 0.5.

Let me know if this works for you
