Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2015 Sr2
Operating System: Win 7

Hey,
i recently updated from Origin 8 to OriginPro 2015. Since this time I can’t open Origin graphs anymore directly from PowerPoint presentations by double-clicking the graphs. I guess that the graphs are still connected to the old Origin 8 that doesn’t exist anymore. But I have no idea how to change the link to new OriginPro 2015.

Thank you for your help and best regards
David

You can try to change properties of you graph file and set origin 2015 as main program. Also if you often make presentations you may use templates. They work perfect. I always use this http://www.poweredtemplate.com/

Hello,

Do you have both Origin 8 and 2015 on the same PC?

When you double click graph in Powerpoint, not even Origin 8 is launched? Do you see any error message? Could you send a screenshot of it?

Could you right click your Origin 2015 and choose run as admin so some registry will be updated.

Then try if double click graph in Powerpoint will open Origin 2015.

Thanks, Snow
