Hi everyone,
I found that several tools were disabled when I was working with 3D plots. Those tools were arrow tool, line tool and rectangle tool. This is particularly inconvenient when I was trying to add those shapes on 3D plots. Is there any way to get it work for 3D plot?

Hello,
We change 3D Graph to be openGL based since 9.0 so 3D graphs look nicer but some tools didn't work in OpenGL based graphs.
In latest Origin 2016, we have turned line and arrow objects on. But rectangle still not working.
If you must have them, you can choose Tools: System Varaibles...
set ogl to 0
Then plot 3D Graph. They will not be openGL graphs. Those tools will work.
