Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 8 SR0 v8.0724
Operating System: Win10

Hello,

The font size of x-and y-axes was set to 18 by default when I plotted a graph; however, the words became much smaller than before (same font size of 18), which was even not observable to me.

May I know the solutions please?

Thanks and regards,

Karson

Hi Karson,

Please try to run the script lines in the script window to reset the page resolution(X and Y):

page.resx=600;
page.resy=600;

Please note, you can adjust these resolution values according to your demand.

If it still doesn't work, please upgrade your Origin to a higher version, at least Origin 8.0 SR6.

Thanks,
Shirley

Dear Shirley,

Thanks for your reply.
It was originally set as "scale with layer frame", and I changed it to "1" in fixed factor. Nothings happened and the words remained small unfortunately.

For the resolution, please see below.

I am sorry that I could not find the DPI.

Regards,

Karson

Hi Karson,

Can you open the Plot Details dialog to check if you have set the Scale Factor to a value less than 1?

If so, please set it to 1(That means the font in current layer will show the real size.).

In addition, can you check the resolution and DPI settings on your PC and show them to us as below?
