Hello,
i have a scatter plot with a user defined color map. I want to change the size of the data points without changing the size of the data points in the graph. I came across the option to modify the legend entries individually. However i want the legend entries to have the same color as the corresponding data points in the graph. Is there a way to do this?
Best wishes Jan |

Posted - 04/26/2016 : 10:40:57 PM Hi Jan,
To set the size of data points in legend, you can try the code below in Object Properties dialog to control the symbol size in legend:
Then the size of the legend symbol size of first plot in current layer will be set to 100.
More explanation about the syntax, please refer to this page: http://www.originlab.com/doc/LabTalk/ref/Legend-Substitution-Notation
Since 2016 SR0, we have supported to make the legend text follow the legend symbol color, you can see details here, http://www.originlab.com/doc/Quick-Help/same-text-and-symbol-color-in-legend You can download our trail to have a try, http://www.originlab.com/demodownload.aspx
Considering you are using 2015, how about changing the legend text color manually by Font Color button in the Format toolbar?
Thanks, Shirley
