I wanted to fit data with non-analytic function to get values for fitting parameters.
f(x)= a*g(x)+b*h(x)
I want to fit with function f(x) and get values for a and b. But I do not have analytic form of g(x) and h(x). But I have values for g(x) and h(x) at discrete values of x.
How can I define f(x) as fitting function in Origin to get fit on my data ?
Is there a way to do this in origin ?
Thanks

My apology. Sorry for the wrong information I have values for g(x) and h(x).
Correction in previous post: "But I have values for g(x) and h(x) at discrete values of x."
And thanks for your prompt reply.
p.s. I have also corrected the first one. -Chandan |

We cannot fit this function if you don’t know analytic form of h(x) nor have values for h(x).
