I would like to know if it is possible to plot a columns graph with unequal class width.
Thank you

Posted - 09/04/2015 : 10:00:00 AM Hi EddyX15,
Column(vertical)/Bar(horizontal) chart with variable column/bar width is available in Origin 9.1 or later. You can see a sample here: http://www.originlab.com/www/products/GraphGallery.aspx?GID=320

Posted - 06/12/2013 : 4:08:13 PM Hi jordai,
We are planning to provide the variable width column chart in the next version(ver. 9.1) - probably sometime in this year.
So, keep tuned.

Posted - 06/11/2013 : 8:08:16 PM Hi,
has this issue been solved for the version 8.6.0? I'm interested in doing a column graph where each column has variable width? If yes, how can this be done?
Thanks, J. |

Posted - 02/28/2003 : 11:19:01 AM At this time we do not support different column widths. Each column within the column/bar graph has the same width. This width is controlled by the 'Gap Between Bars' setting on the Spacing Tab, in Plot Details.
The suggestion to support variable width is in our development database for our programmers to consider implementing in a future version of the software.
Thank you.
