Hi,

I am very new in using Origin. I want to import an excel binary data. But there is no dataformat for this excel type.

Can me help anyone?

Hi Elnino,

You can use impExcel X-Function to import this kind of data.
http://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Import-Excel

When you are requested to select files, please type *.xlsb in File Name to find the xlsb files. In the ImpExcel dialog, please keep the check box "Use Excel COM Component to Import" be checked.

Then, you can import the file into Origin Workbook.
