Hi,

When I paste a text file which has, say:
686.6546 19870.246
686.7063 19966.42
686.758 19952.746

Origin displays this:
686.6546 19870.246
686.7063 19966.42
686758 19952.746

It takes away the comma from the data, which makes my plot include horizontal lines up to hundreds of thousnads.

I know I can sort the x column in ascending order, delete the last rows and problem solved, but I have to manage so much data that it makes me loose lots of time. Some days ago, this didn't happen so I think i somehow changed Origin's default settings. I went to Tools-options but, even if I restore 1,000.000 it wouldnt work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce your problem on my machine.

Would you mind sending your text file and OPJ file to tech@originlab.com with detailed description?

Thanks,
Yuki
