I usually work with more than one Origin-task open in Windows NT.
However, when I want to use the template library it says that it is in use by another program. I think this was not the case in Origin 6.
Now I have to close the other Origin-tasks to solve this problem.
Is there another possibility ?

Thank you
Alex

This behavior, that is by design, is the same as it was in Origin 6.1. It is true of all floating toolbars; for example, the same thing happens if you open the Linear Fit toolbar, located under the Tools menu.

The toolbars were redesigned for Origin 6.1, which is why you would not have seen this behavior in Origin 6.0.

When running multiple instances of Origin, you'll need to keep track of what tool you use in what instance of Origin.
