Posted - 11/23/2016 : 09:14:40 AM Hello,
I am trying to fit data achieved from a Ruchardt experiment (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%BCchardt_experiment)
The experiment produces data resulting in a damped sinewave. I used the SineDamp fit to pull the period of this oscillation out of origin. The period or W paramater value, according to origin, is equal to 0.48. However just by visually analysing the sine wave I can see that the period should be double that.
Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you |

Ah I see now, well the fit was definitely correct then. Thank you! |
