Hi Treza,

Thanks for the updates. I updated the jira so our developer can look into it.

Thanks, Snow

It comes back to me, I had changed size of items from 125 to 124 in the control panel to resolve blurred interface issue about six months ago, this messed up plot menu recently.

Thanks,

Thank you Snow,

I did some tests and found that there are two DPI settings in Win10:
in Control panel -> Display : Size of items is set to 125%, recommended %,
but in Settings -> Display : Size of items is set to 175% without my consent.

I finally reset this last one to 125% and plot menu issue was resolved.

While, some other softwares mess up, showing blurred interfaces.
New problem to be fixed...

Thank you.

Hello,

It looks the plot menu messed up on your PC. I couldn't reproduce it with the same resolution and DPI.

Are you on retina display?
If you change resolution or DPI, will the problem be gone?
Does it only happen on your PC?

I am wondering if repair will fix the issue.

I jiraed this in https://originlab.jira.com/browse/ORG-15811 (user can't see the link) for our developer to take a look but hope to get more info. from you.

Thanks, Snow

Hello,
Could you help me with this display issue? I have a full hd resolution 1920*1080 and changed DPI to 125%.
Thank you,
treza

Hello,

Could you let me know why you would like to turn it off? I ask this since no beta testers gave negative feedback on this so we'd appreciate your feedback.

If you don't like the long delay when mousing over different groups, We have a system vaviable @PMT which was default as 1000 to show plot types with 1 sec delay. U can change it to smaller so there is less delay.

You can choose Tools: System Variables menu.
Enter PMT as variable and enter value e.g. as 300.
Click OK so it applies to all future sessions.

Also here is how to turn it off:
Choose Help: Origin Folder: Program Folder
--> this will bring you to Origin exe folder.

rename PlotPopup subfolder there as PlotPopup_nouse or any other name.

Restart Origin. The menu should be back. If you want to use the large icon menu again, rename the folder back.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Snow
