Hi All!

I'm sorry to disturb you guys but I just have a quick question!
I was wondering wether it is possible to use a user defined function as a probability distribution function for the qq plot. For now, it seems that Origin only supports some predefined pdf.

Thank you for your help!

Hi Andrea,

In my opinion, the PDFs(probability distribution function, such as Gauss) are not suitable to be used to do fitting on the QQ plot directly. As you can see, QQ plot generally looks like a line plot, is not possible to do a nonlinear fit on a linear curve, am I right?

So, would you please give us more details about what you want?

Thanks,
Shirley
