I have a dataset from which I need to substract the baseline. I have been doing it routinely, but during the last weeks, something changed and I cannot do it anymore. The problem is the following:

- I want to substract the baseline from my data so I open the dialog for Peak Analyzer --> "Substract Baseline" --> baseline mode "User defined". Then, the option "Enable Auto Find" does not find any anchor points (although it is obvious that there are) and if I deactivate the Auto mode to Add them manually, it does not work neither (the window is not minimize to allow you to select points in the graph, as it would occur normally).

Anyone could help me with this problem?

Thank you in advance!!

Cristina

Hello,

It doesn't seem to be a problem of my data, as if I sent the source dataset to my colleagues at work, they can do this with the program without problem. I think I have a problem with the Origin program at my computer. I tried to repair/uninstall and install again but doesn't fix the problem.

As I show in the attached document, when I press "Find" in the PEAK ANALYZER the graph turns red and nothing happens (the window is not minimized and anchor points are not found). Also it is not possible to add them manually using "Add". This same procedure works if I use a different computer with Origin.

Thanks for your help!

Cristina

Hi Cristina,

Sorry, but I can not reproduce the problem here. Could you send us the source dataset via tech@originlab.com?

Thanks,
Shirley
