Hello all,
I need to resolve the background function that needs to be subtracted by non-linear fitting of the data to a combination of linear and arctangent – what will be the best way of doing it?
Thanks.
OK

You can use Origin's nonlinear curve fitter to define your own fitting function. Origin has mathematical functions that include sin(x), cos(x), tan(x) as well as asin(x), acos(x), and atan(x).

If you need any help creatin a user-defined fitting function, search Origin's help file for an example, or let us know here on the forum and we can help.
