Is it possible to initialize the graphic tools ( i.e. circle tool ) with fill pattern = <none>? How can I do this?

Thank you very much Mike,

sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees.

Hi Carsten,

This works in Origin 7 (I'm not sure about earlier versions)...

1> Create a rectangle, circle, whatever.
2> Open its properties. (double-click on shape)
3> Open Fill Pattern tab.
4> Select Pattern = None.
5> Click the Set Default button.
